【影片介绍】

影片讲述了一个名叫萨姆·维特维奇的少年，因一次的机缘巧合而被卷入了代表正义及英勇的汽车人和代表邪恶及奸诈的霸天虎之间的战争。而两者是来自同一个外来星球，但立场却相互对立的两派机械生命体，既可以变形成立即战斗的机械人，也可以变形成人类生活中各种常见的机械体。霸天虎一行人欲夺得火种源，因这种东西拥有赋予机器生命的力量；而且变形金刚也正是由火种源所创，霸天虎的首领威震天希望可以将其用来在地球上建立一个机器军团，而汽车人的首领擎天柱则要想方设法阻止对方。
