This Code is developed by Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Corporation in cooperation with other organizations involved in scientific research， engineering， operation and construction based on the requirements of Document Jian Biao [2004] No. 67 issued by Ministry of Construction （MOC）-Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2004. In preparing this Code， the development team made extensive investigations and studies， summarized the practices on anti-corrosion engineering of oil tanks in research & development， engineering design， construction， operation and maintenance in the past 10 years in China， referred to a huge number of specifications and information on the anti-corrosion engineering of oil tanks both at home and abroad， and reviewed and finalized this Code based on comments from organizations involved in scientific research， engineering design， operation， construction and anticorrosion material manufacturing in petroleum， petrochemical and natural gas industries in China. This Code comprise 7 chapters and 7 appendixes， and mainly includes general provisions， terms， general requirements， engineering design， construction， commissioning， construction acceptance， operation， maintenance and testing， etc. The provisions printed in bold type are compulsory and must be enforced strictly. Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China is in charge of administration of this Code and explanation of its compulsory provisions， and Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Corporation is tasked for explanation of specific technical contents.
